7 Tips for weight loss and spot the dangers of yo-yo dieting

Research has shown that about 90 percent of the attempts to diet. We are bombarded by the latest fad diet celebrity diet, which all take different names such as low carb, low fat diet, blood group diet and the diet of cabbage soup to name a few.

And the incredible thing is that we are all susceptible to fall into the same patterns of yo-yo dieting becomes a lifelong habit and not even recognize it. The only point I realize that yo-yo dieting does not work is when they start to feel bad - this should not be confused with an initial detoxification when toxins leave the body.

• Focus on your behavior around food, which means portion control, staying active, joining the gym or exercise and better nutrition provided to help you lose fat, instead of achieving a goal weight number

• Be sure to include compatible cardio or aerobic exercise, weight bearing exercise but also because it is essential to build muscle tone

• Focus on quality of life rather than a particular event you need to lose weight, like your beach vacation or wedding.

• Do not go to fashion a rigid diet of any kind. Look at what is really depriving yourself and finally see if the diet includes all food groups, ie carbohydrates, proteins, fats, fruits and nuts. If not, find a diet that is balanced or consult your doctor.

• Make sure your eating plan and exercise you choose is one you can follow for the rest of his life. Remember, you have to eat to live, not live to eat. For example, are you really going to be able to buy fish face every day on a diet that is very oriented fish? Or if you're ordering online feeds, you can really afford the monthly subscription for the coming years?

• Be aware that your body has genetic limits and has muscle memory. You might say to yourself, I lose half a stone so that if I put in does not matter that I have a bit of a buffer, but in the long run you will end up yo-yo dieting. Instead, keep doing what will make you leaner and healthier and let your body take care of the weight. Eventually you will reach your ideal weight for you.

• Take your time to keep the pantry filled with easy to prepare, nutritious alternatives. Discard food that does not fit into a healthy lifestyle and fill the fridge with fresh food.
