For someone who intends to lose weight, exercise is almost always a required part of the weight loss program. The weight is gained when the amount of calorie intake exceeds the amount of calories used by the body. Exercise helps increase the body's metabolism allowing you to burn calories faster. Most times, people eat much more than they should, and without exercise, they are bound to get bigger and heavier. 


Two best types of exercises to lose weight. These are cardio or aerobics, and strength training. These types of exercises have different effects on the body, but all are useful when trying to lose weight.

Cardio exercises are called because they increase the heart rate over a sustained period of time. cardio exercises have a lot of health benefits including improved heart muscle and blood circulation, strengthening muscles and bones, improve the ability of muscles to use fat during training, and increase metabolism aerobic body. The latter two are particularly useful when trying to lose weight. Here are some examples of cardio exercises:

Jogging or running - is probably one of the best cardio workouts and most common is doing. It's because you can do almost anywhere, for free. There is also no special equipment required, only a special type of shoes and you're good to go. Adding some sprints or running uphill can help you burn more calories.

A singles match in tennis - is also considered an aerobic exercise. The good thing about tennis compared with running is that it uses arm muscles too much, not only the muscles of the leg. The problem with tennis is that you need a racket in the first place, a court and a partner to play with.

Swimming - is a great way to do cardio exercises, since it uses a lot of muscles in your body. Swimming injuries are minimized because the joints are supported.

Riding a bike - you can do outdoors or indoors. Using an indoor machine would be great because you can adjust the resistance. But if you are cycling outdoors, riding uphill is the best way to burn calories.

Jump rope - is also a good way to get cardio workout. You only have to buy a cord and can be indoor or outdoor jump.

Exercises strength training.

These are exercises that aim to build the strength of skeletal muscles and bones. Resistance used usually in the form of weights to boost muscle beyond its normal capacity in order to build strength.
